We are a family run business that began in 2012 with a few skeins of hand painted roving and yarn. Myself (Julia) and my husband (Dave) are the owners of The Fiber Imp and we have two children who pitch in when they can (usually you'll run into them at our in person shows). Over the years we've gradually expanded into what you see today. We now offer commercial roving, as well as hand painted roving and bare roving if you'd like to start your own adventure. We also sell hand painted yarns and handspun yarns. Most recently we've expanded into fiber equipment and sell weaving looms, spinning wheels and various other goodies from Ashford, Majacraft and Schacht. We are also in the midst of creating a showroom for fellow fiber enthusiasts to come sit down, have a coffee or tea, try a wheel or loom and play with all the pretty things.
We've just recently relocated to the lovely city of London, Ontario and welcome individuals and groups to come out and spend the day with us. If you'd like to arrange a visit, send us an email at thefiberimp@hotmail.com and we'll make it happen!
